The Charity Work of AHEPA Munich
Philanthropy is at the heart of AHEPA's activities, a tradition that the Munich chapter continues. Since 2020, the year AHEPA Munich was founded, the local chapter has made charitable donations of more than 15,000 euros to German and Greek charities and to people in need. Since 2023, an annual Charity Dinner has been organized, the proceeds of which are used to support charitable institutions in the city of Munich.
The AHEPA-Day
Every year in July, on the occasion of the anniversary of the foundation of AHEPA, the local chapter organizes a garden dinner with German and Greek guests at the restaurant MINOA in Neubiberg. The guests have the opportunity to enjoy Greek delicacies, participate in interesting discussions and plan joint activities to strengthen the dialogue between Greece and Germany.
AHEPA Munich Academic Sponsorship Programme
AHEPA Munich actively supports Greek Studies in Germany. It participated as a minor sponsor in the Bessarion Research Project at the University of Jena and established the AHEPA Scholarship for Greek Studies at the University of Munich. It also organizes and sponsors lectures and workshops on Greek history and culture, as well as on Greek-German relations.
